Nothing can make you feel fancy and sophisticated quite as much as taking a visit to a winery. But maybe that’s not why you’re here—wineries are also great if you simply love tasting different wines, of course! Did you know that there are a number of wineries right here in PA, though? Here’s our list of the best wineries near Allentown, PA. We hope to see you in the tasting room soon!

Blue Mountain Vineyards

This winery can boast having their wines poured at the Presidential Summit, Republican National Convention, and at the governor’s mansion. The micro-climate of the area is similar to that of the Loire and Burgundy regions of France, giving the grapes the flavor needed to create old world style wines. The Vineyard boats gorgeous views of the Appalachian’s Blue Mountain, making it a wonderful destination for an enjoyable day of wine tasting.

Clover Hill Vineyards & Winery

This winery offers a large selection of wines, as well as their own fresh-pressed grape juice! Head to the tasting room to sample their offerings, or stop by for one of their events—there’s fun things to do at the winery almost every single week! Got a special occasion or party coming up? You can even order bottles of your favorite wine with your own custom labels affixed to commemorate the occasion!

Sleepy Cat Urban Winery

This winery has a funky, modern vibe unlike that of most other wineries. All wines are produced on site, right in the middle of the city. The owners of the winery are parents to four cats, and you’ll see their love for animals reflected throughout the winery. All their wines have fun names, many of which are inspired by cats, such as “Kitty Kisses,” “Moonlight Meow,” “Smokey’s Midnight Treat,” and more.
